About Us

Southern Arizona Rehabilitation Hospital (SARH) is a 60 bed, freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital located in northwest area of Tucson, Arizona.

Programs at SARH help improve the quality of life for people who have survived injury and illness. It is our goal to return them to their prior lifestyles and level of independence. Using start-of-the art rehabilitation techniques, we help individuals achieve their greatest level of function as soon as possible to get them back to work…to play…to living.

Features of our facility include:
• Inpatient therapy gym

• Outpatient therapy gym
• Indoor therapy pool
• Mobility courtyard
• Activities of Daily Living therapy training suite—includes kitchen, dining, bedroom and bath spaces

• Transitional Living Unit—provides an “at-home” type setting for patients to practice independence prior to being discharged
• In-patient pharmacy
• Dining room

• Outdoor patio dining

Referrals to SARH may be made by a physician, case manager/social worker, family member, or self-referral.

Patients may be admitted from a hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office and even from home.
